Dear Peanut,
So while in mommys tummy, I'm sure you heard me screaming.... but me and your uncle Tony got engaged!!!!!! It was Auntie Mandas 25th bday and our 7yr anniversary. Mommy and Daddy could never really spend my birthday with me, cause thats the same day as your grandpas birthday too. So, Auntie Manda was soooooo happy that mommy and daddy were there to share the special news with us!!! Now.... we are planning a big big wedding :) its going to be fun!!! you might be still to little to come, but i did ask, "can he please wear a tuxedo shirt". haha.... so my style for you!

any-whooo.... i love you peanut and can't wait to see you again in a pic :) hopefully maybe you will have a name next.... we will see...

"was the burp you or the baby?"

Dear Peanut,
For thanksgiving, me and your uncle tony like to share the holiday with mommy and daddy. we try to have a mini thanksgiving together because the one true thing we all four are thankful for is our friendship. We named our special day THE GREAT TURKEY! next year you will be here!!! Mommy had the cutest tummy then, and we just talked to you all night. Here are some silly pics of the turkey haha..

this is your daddy trying to figure out something with that poor turkey... Haha! he looks confused! good thing mommy and uncle tony cooked this year! :)

Your mommy is such a good cook!

So is uncle Tony!

and Daddy... well he is a really good taste tester :)

When we finished eating dinner, mommys tummy made a loud noise. I said, "Was the burp you or the baby??!!". we all laughed and we still think it was you who burped cause you were so full from all the yummy turkey...

"I love his belly"

"ITS A BOY!!!!!!!!!"

Dear peanut,
welp the news is in!!!! On November 15th your mommy and daddy had a doctor appt. to check up on you and possibly see a better look for the gender(member gender means boy or girl). Welp..... they found out and your mommy called me right away and said, "ITS A BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!" i loved you right away and i knew mommy and daddy were so happy and excited. All uncle tony could think about was going to your soccer games and playing catch with you and your daddy and buying you trucks. Uncle tony loves you very much too!!! the night of movie night, i knew you were a little boy... i could just tell :) now..... until the next letter, im hoping mommy and daddy thought of some names for you!! love you peanut :)

"its a boy! he totally has brans eyebrows!"

Dear lil' yocky,
alot has been happening baby...
me and uncle tony and your mommy and daddy decided to have a movie night on Nov. 13th. This was the day I first got a glimpse at you. You were so cute and i nicknamed you my peanut... because the first pic of you makes you look like a little itty bitty peanut :) here it is...

this was you at 13 weeks!!!! :) aww my lil' peanut...

then your mommy showed me another pic and i freaked out and told your mommy, "its a boy! he totally has bran's eyebrows!" haha... that does sound kinda silly and at this moment we didn't really know if you were a boy or girl, but that was my guess cause you had the splitting image of your daddys face :) heres that pic...

this is you at 15 months!!! you still love to move around and stretch so i think you are going to be quite the lil' athlete for mommy and daddy :)

"i really want you guys to have a girl"

Dear Lil' Yocky,
So yesterday, Oct. 25th, 2010, your mommy and daddy went to the doctors for a check-up to make sure mommy and you were healthy... and just maybe.... they would find out the gender (boy or girl) of you. I knew mommy didn't find out that day cause she didn't call me, so i waited till the next day to see how the doctors went.
Your mommy sounded so excited and happy. You were moving around soooo much and stretching, and touching your toes. Mommy thinks you were moving around alot because daddy was there too so you might have got excited. They couldn't really tell cause you were moving so much, but when the doctor was done she told mommy, "i really want you guys to have a girl". to be honest... thats really silly for a doctor to say... so right now at this point mommy thinks you might be a girl.... we will see.....

"theres an app for that"

dear Lil' yocky,
so where did we leave off... of yes... so me and your uncle tony wanted to take your mommy and daddy out to dinner to celebrate YOU! :) We went to one of our favorite restaurants, Outback steakhouse. Your mommy loves the baked potato soup and your daddy always seams to be the good one and order the veggies haha :)... so after dinner we went back to mommy and daddys home and i was so excited to see what names they had come up for you...
At this time, your auntie manda is a big Apple owner and loves her iphone... and on this iphone you can add whats called an "APP".... mommy and daddy needed some help thinking of names and luckily i had my phone and told your mommy "theres an app for that". a few minutes later we spent 2 1/2 hours looking at names for you. these were their top choices... if you were a boy you could be named: chase, dylan, seth, russell, luke, will, shane, and if you were a girl: reese, skyler. (I wonder if they picked from this batch... or maybe you have a different name now)
i'm sure once your parents find out what gender you are then there will be another post :)

"i didn't want you to find out on facebook"

dear Lil' yocky,
i know this may seem kind of weird that i am writing you and i won't even really be meeting you for about five more months.... but your auntie manda is weird and your mom picked me as a BF... so you can always blame her later :)

before i begin... i just wanted to say why i did this in the first place. Your parents are very strong and super busy people! They don't have time to make a silly blog for you... so thats where i come into the picture. Your first year is going to be filled with soooo many memories and i am going to make sure i use this blog as a journal so that one day we can make a lovely book for them and that way they can remember all the little details about you and even before you...

so lets start......

I was at work when i got a text from your mommy saying she really needed to talk to me. (just in case times have changed texting is like talking, but instead you are typing from your phone). I let her know that i was at work so i would give her a call back when i got off. Now, during this time a network called Facebook was used very often to socialize with friends and family. Me and your mommy are very close and when it is something very important we always talk on the phone or in person. I knew it was a big deal when i answered the phone at work and it was your mom.!!!!!!!!!!
I was sooooo worried. If your mom called me at work theres no time to loose! i remember her exact words...."I didn't want you to find out on Facebook".... after that i was so confused.... then standing there with my heart in my stomach, your mommy said "IM PREGNANT!"
Pretty sure i screamed and cried. i was so full of joy and happiness for your mommy and daddy. This was a big step in the family and all i could say to people at work was I am going to be an auntie!!! the countdown then began......
